Scott Webster Mountaineering - New Website

AMI mountain guide and Antarctic surveyor Scott Webster was in need of a new website to provide him with more control and a sleeker design.

Mountaineering instructor and AMI guide Scott Webster has an incredible library of photographs from mountain ranges and climbing trips the world over. It's worth taking a look at his new website for this reason alone but the new Scott Webster Mountaineering also features a great interactive map of his and girlfriend Mairi's latest trip around Europe, Mongolia and Russia as they attempt to climb Khan Tengri.

Scott's previous website was full of great content but didn't offer enough in the way of control, so it was important that the new site have a user-friendly and intuitive content management system (CMS). We opted to build the site using the stylish Squarespace platform as it would provide a great deal of functionality 'out of the box' and save time and money being spent on lots of custom development. The resulting site is a mixture of Squarespace design and some custom code, providing a unique design that best showcases Scott's incredible stories and photography.
